My MOM ~Mothers Day~ Wanda's Country Home

1913 ~ 1998

Her children arise up, and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praiseth her...Proverbs 31:28

"M" is for the million things she gave me,
"O" means only that she's growing old,
"T" is for the tears she shed to save me,
"H" is for her heart of purest gold;
"E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
"R" means right, and right she'll always be,
Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER',
A word that means the world to me

I give thanks for the gift of our Mother,
For one like her, I have found no other.

The character found in her,
You can find in God’s Holy Word.
For as Esther, Ruth, Naomi and Mary,
Found favor in the sight of God….
So did one named HAZEL, our Mother.

God loved her so much….He called her out,
Believing this end time message there’s no doubt.
God’s Prophet Brother Branham,
Told her who she was…..Sister Phillips,
As the Holy Spirit spoke it from above.

Her modest home was her Castle,
Where she served her family as a true “Queen”.
Her words or scolding was not the teacher,
But the character of a Godly Life, was our preacher.

Her life is an example of a real Lady,
She didn't gossip or meddle in other affairs.
Chaste, she kept herself in her home,
Always teaching her daughters to do the same!

She took care of the ways of her household,
And never had a day of idleness.
It was late to bed for her, and early to rise,
Another day to live with life being her prize!

Gone now to glory to be with our Dad,
And longing for them, but we are not sad!
A celebrity in Heaven our Mother…Hazel,
All heaven rejoiced the day she came home.

Just in a moment and a twinkling of an eye,
We'll join them in eternity, forever blessed!
We are looking for them just any day now,
As the rapture is upon us and SOON to appear,
We lift up our heads, redemption draweth near!

Written by Wanda...my heart and words cannot express
enough love and gratitude to God for our Mother...HAZEL!

Her love is like an island
In life's ocean, vast and wide
A peaceful, quiet shelter
From the wind, the rain, the tide.
'Tis bound on the north by Hope,
By Patience on the West,
By tender Counsel on the South
And on the East by Rest.
Above it like a beacon light
Shine Faith, and Truth, and Prayer;
And thro' the changing scenes of life
I find a haven there.
