Many web sites on the internet have been optimized for certain screen resolutions. Often when viewing a webpage the webmaster will let you know that it's best viewed with certain resolutions.
A good standard is 1024 by 768. With this lesson you can experiment and see what works best for you.

- Right click on your Desktop and select PROPERTIES
- On the Display Properties menu select the SETTINGS tab.
- Move the slider to the right (or left) until you see "800 by 600 pixels" OR "1024 by 768 pixels" displayed. Once you have the slider in the correct position, click "OK". Your screen will turn black for a moment.
If you want to change it back OR to a different setting...just go back and repeat the steps until you find something that works best for you.
