HOW TO SEND TEXT HYPERLINK IN EMAILS

I've had a request for a lesson on How to make a text link in your emails. Some email clients do not support the text link, so on this lesson I give you examples of both.

  • In Outlook Express, open a new message
  • Type the text you want to make a hyperlink for:
    WANDA'S COUNTRY HOME
  • Select or highlight by holding down your right mouse button and dragging your mouse from left to right. As shown in the photo, this will be dark.
  • On your toolbar, click on INSERT
  • Scroll down and click on HYPERLINK

  • In the TYPE bar make sure the http: is selected.
  • In the URL bar you will need to type or COPY/PASTE the URL that you want your text link to go to.
  • Click OK

  • There you have your TEXT Link.
To make sure you have done it correctly, send the message to yourself first...and then send it to your friends.

For AOL users and other email clients that do not support the hypertext links use this tag:

To use this code:
  • Replace the link between the " " with the link you want to use.
